Welcome
to Stelor

Welcome to our little piece of Gotland
Stelor is our Gotlandic farm stay, 25 minutes south of Visby. The farm features 7 relaxing and cosy rooms in the original stone farm house from the 1820s, a renovated barn (perfect for weddings and parties) and kitchen garden where we harvest vegetables everyday.
It’s the place where we gather all the things we love about Gotland; wild flowers for the tables, fresh produce from our neighbours and work by local artists for the hotel room walls. There’s so much to discover on Gotland, which is why we never have to go too far to find things we need and love.
The Stelor family is more than just our own. It’s Elin & Ellie, who run the farm with us. It’s Janne who helped us establish our kitchen garden. And all the awesome local producers who help us create something delicious, cosy and special, so you can sleep, eat, marry and meet at Stelor.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Over summer, from June 15 to August 31, everyone is welcome to join us nightly for our summer harvest dinners. Starting at 18:30, the dinner features at least three courses, using produce picked fresh that day from our garden and from our neighbours. We have delicious options for vegetarians and Stelor is the perfect place for children to eat, play and run around while you enjoy an extra glass of wine.
Fresh from the garden and our neighbours
Gotland is idyllic for foodies. There’s so much great produce available and it’s why our menu is, more often than not, decided on the day. This year we’ve set up our own kitchen garden with the help of our neighbour Janne, who grows delicious bio-dynamic vegetables down the road.
We also get delicious seasonal vegetables and berries from Andrea and Viktor from Rone Smissarve, wild roe deer from Erik, a local hunter and, delicious milk, yoghurt, cream and cheese from our friend and dairy farmer, Lotta.
Food at Stelor
Our summer restaurant is now closed and will re-open summer of 2023.
Autumn throughout spring we offer cooking courses, wedding catering and private events. For hotel guests staying, there’s always delicious home cooked meals available too. For any enquires, please get in touch with My find out more.
